Laundromatinee! and some free mp3s for you!

I've been waiting for this video session to come our for over a year! So excited to share these videos with you...
Here's what they have to say over at My Old Kentucky Blog's video series (where you can download free mp3s of each of these songs):

Alexa Woodward creates stirring Americana music by combining lyrical breadth with a gentle banjo style that begs to be heard again and again.  On her 2009 release, Speck, the Appalachian songstress crafts deceptively simple tales that draw in the listener with her lilting tones, but reveal much more upon repeated listen; references to Tolstoy, Salanger, and ever Harper Lee appear throughout her writing, providing a sense of literary grandeur to familiar themes of love and loss, heartache and joy.

Currently on a tour that will take her through the US and Canada, and eventually Europe, Alexa continues to share her gorgeous music with those lucky enough to be in attendance.  With a new album due out in early 2011, there are high hopes in anticipation of what she'll share with us next.
