My new record, "It's a Good Life Honey If You Don't Grow Weary," is coming out next month!
This album is the product of doing music full time for almost two years, a journey that has brought me across the US, Europe, and Canada, singing over deserts and mountains and in the pulpy hearts of wild cities, in sewers and churches and living rooms. This record is made possible by friends and fans who generously donated to my kickstarter campaign, and by those of you who come out to shows and tell your friends about this music. Thank you!
With the help of a grant from the Metropolitan Arts Council of Greenville, SC, the packaging will be a letter pressed coloring book with lyrical drawings of nine of the twelve songs on the album, each drawing done by yours truly, with a CD cover and layout designed by Dan Grissom of Some Say Leland.
We are celebrating with CD release parties in Texas, New York, and Boston! Please stay tuned for early reviews, music videos, and details about when it will be available online. In the mean time, check out these CD release tour dates and if you are nearby, make it a point to come out to these very special shows.
